Environment and climate-friendly construction is receiving increasingly greater attention these days – if it is not already a de facto component or even a legal requirement in construction projects in many parts of Europe and the rest of the world. In addition to the use of sustainable building materials and regenerative heating systems, the façade design and the glazing used, in particular, play an important part in making buildings energy-efficient. Our highly insulating glass is the key to energy savings at the highest level. Our glasses are available in the versions N10 and N34. With a U-value of up to 1.0 W/m²K, these insulating glasses are among the best available on the market.
The production of our Low-E coatings is carried out by the high-performance cathode sputtering process in vacuum. Noble gas ions are accelerated and „fired" at noble metal targets. The dislodged atoms condense as a layer of material on the glass. The individual layers are applied atom by atom in this way.
